Made of ASA, a UV-stable thermoplastic used for exterior automotive trim. It won't yellow, warp, or become brittle in a sunny window. The base is filled with a sand-and-clay core, weighted by hand and permanently sealed, so it sits with the density of a solid object rather than a shell. Filled, finished, and packed by hand in Los Angeles.

Yes. Your candle burns inside its own glass vessel, which sits in the holder — the flame never contacts the holder. Trim the wick to ¼ inch, never leave a burning candle unattended, and don't burn for more than four hours at a time.

The well is built for a 3.1-inch vessel, the size of our 6 oz candles. Other brands may not fit. Never force a candle into a holder that doesn't seat easily.

Coconut wax has a low melting point, so it releases easily. Wash with warm soapy water, or put the vessel in the freezer for an hour and pop the hardened wax out.
