The Nitty Gritty

Does this holder come with candles?

Yes. Every holder ships with a three-candle set. Choose one scent or the Mix Pack to get one of each.
How big is it?

9.0 × 6.1 × 2.5 inches — about the size of a book at the top of a coffee table stack. It holds one 6 oz candle.
What is it made of?

Made of ASA, a UV-stable thermoplastic used for exterior automotive trim. It won't yellow, warp, or become brittle in a sunny window. The base is filled with a sand-and-clay core, weighted by hand and permanently sealed, so it sits with the density of a solid object.
How is it made?

Formed on high-precision industrial equipment, then filled, finished, and packed by hand in Los Angeles. The process allows geometry and surface detail that traditional molding can't produce at this scale.
Is it safe to burn a candle in it?

Yes. Your candle burns inside its own glass vessel, which sits in the holder — the flame never contacts the holder. Trim the wick to ¼ inch, never leave a burning candle unattended, and don't burn for more than four hours at a time.
Will any candle fit?

The well is built for a 3.1-inch vessel, the size of our 6 oz candles. Other brands may not fit. Never force a candle into a holder that doesn't seat easily.
Can I actually stack books on it?

It's built to sit in a stack, not under one. Keep it on top.
How do I clean out leftover wax?

Coconut wax has a low melting point, so it releases easily. Wash with warm soapy water, or put the vessel in the freezer for an hour and pop the hardened wax out.
